L’Horta de Can Patxei is a family-run project born in the heart of the Empordà, in the village of Gualta, deeply rooted in our heritage.
For generations, our family has cultivated the land, while at the same time remaining closely connected to hospitality and restaurant life in L’Estartit. It is from this dual tradition — the land and the art of welcoming guests — that our approach to gastronomy has emerged.
Our philosophy is simple and sincere: to cook with what the seasons provide, treating every ingredient with care and paying attention to every detail. We honour the knowledge and traditions passed down by those who came before us, combining heritage and creativity with a natural sense of elegance.
The result is a genuine and ever-evolving identity: a peaceful place where people can share dishes that tell the story of where we come from, and experience a way of doing things that values time, good taste, and the dedication that only a family project can offer.
